Diana Weggler Did such a wonderful job teaching us how to create our very own custom knitting needles. Through cutting, sharpening, sanding and oiling, then adding glass beads to the tops....it is such a wonderful gift to make, keep or share!
Carol E did a fantastic job leading our class in Cork Decor. We were gifted boxes of corks that were transformed into several different Valentine shapes...Perfect for that special someone
Learning the basics of knitting was a wonderfully intense class, with an experienced knitter for every student, brand new needles for all, and loads of yarns to play with. Thank you to all the volunteer knitters that made this possible.
Painting on glass and learning the "one stroke" technique was wonderful fun.
Amy I. did a fantastic job, providing all supplies and guidance, as well as the lovely vases we worked on, sending us home with the paints and a second vase so we can keep practicing. Great class!
With the simple act of curling strips of paper, we were able to create amazing artwork! The class was taught by Donna G., and this adorable bird is the very first attempt at the craft by Debra R. Thank you Donna, and well done to all! Another very fun afternoon.
We had such a wonderful afternoon painting Mandala patterns onto ornaments, and by adding a bit of embellishments each once sparkled.
Twinkle twinkle little star! This was such a fun and whimsical craft. We shaped three wire hangers into the star shape, wrapped them in twine and added fairy lights.
Thank you so much Sandy Grant, Debra Rogler, and all the hookers that made this craft possible! This is part one of a two-part class, and everyone that attended is happy to have homework and more learning at the second class. Well done!
Ogee is an architectural style that describes an S curved shape, and this project taught the simple (yet sometimes baffling) way to turn a perfect square into a spiral mobile or do up six and make a snowflake. Really fun afternoon!
Our crafting just keeps getting better and better! On Oct. 12 we did a field trip to Salt and Sand Studios where Spencer provided private lessons to 15 willing and happy crafters. Fantastic craft! Fantastic Day!
Carma Flowers provided an amazing class of basket making, teaching 8 extremely willing crafters the art of a wooden bottomed basket weaving. The day was a triumph and everyone went home with a prized keepsake.
Puzzle making has never been so spectacular! Caz created jigsaw puzzles out of plywood, milled the frames and provided plexi to hold the finished puzzle in place. Once we decoupaged to our hearts desire we went home with the most unique craft imaginable.
